Right for your profile?
Auto-entrepreneur
Best if: Sweet spot. The free plan is enough to start, and Premium at €15/month automates URSSAF, VAT and filings.
Avoid if: You need Shopify or Etsy integrations: Indy has no native e-commerce connector (Clubic 05/2026).
Freelance
Best if: Built for BNC liberal professions and solo service providers: bank sync, 2035 form included on the Premium tier at €22/month.
Avoid if: You bill in multiple currencies internationally or need multi-user accounting.
Artisan
Best if: Works for a simple service activity as sole proprietor or micro-entrepreneur, without inventory management.
Avoid if: Multi-site construction quotes, work-in-progress invoicing or advanced inventory tracking are not covered.
TPE
Best if: Acceptable for one-person SAS or EURL on the Companies tier at €49/month.
Avoid if: As soon as you have one employee: Indy does not handle employee payroll, only director payroll.
PME
Best if: Not Indy's positioning: the editor explicitly targets solo independents.
Avoid if: Multi-employee structures, multi-site setups or ERP needs: pick Pennylane, Sage or Cegid.

Weaknesses, avoid if
- No public API and no native connectors with Stripe, Zapier or Shopify, which limits e-commerce integrations (Clubic, 27/05/2026).
- The standard chat does not cover complex accounting or tax questions. Phone support is reserved for the paid Accountant option (Clubic, 27/05/2026).
- Narrow business scope: excludes furnished rentals (LMP), agricultural regimes and some corporation tax structures; no employee payroll and no advanced multi-user management (Clubic, 27/05/2026; Independant.io, 2026).
